CRICKET CHAMPIONS
Unbeaten. United. Outstanding!
Our Year 7/8 cricket team has
enjoyed a fantastic season,
remaining unbeaten across five
fixtures and finishing top of the
league. While the real focus has
been on participation,
development and enjoyment, the
players' hard work, commitment
and positive attitude were
rewarded with a well-deserved
league title.
A real highlight was the number
of students involved, with 17
players representing QPHS
across the season. Every player
contributed, whether through
batting, bowling, fielding or
supporting their teammates.
The team was led superbly by
Harry A and Hamidullah S,
whose leadership and
encouragement helped create a
positive team spirit and ensured
everyone played an important
role in the team's success.
Throughout the season, the
players represented the school
superbly, showing excellent
commitment, sportsmanship and
a willingness to learn and
improve. It was fantastic to see
their confidence and skills grow
with every match.
Congratulations to all 17 players
on an outstanding season. Their
unbeaten record and league
success are achievements they
can be incredibly proud of, and
we look forward to seeing their
continued progress next year.
The final term proved to be an outstanding
one for girls' sport at QPHS, with
impressive performances, team spirit and
memorable achievements across both
rounders and athletics.
