WORK EXPERIENCE
Invest in Future Talent
Work Experience (13th - 17th July 2026) is an opportunity for
Year 10 and 12 students to gain meaningful experience within
an organisation linked to their future career aspirations.
Since January, students have been busy finding their own
placements, with some planning to head off to some exciting
destinations!
If your son/daughter has not yet secured work experience,
please encourage them to do so as it is an invaluable
opportunity and is part of our curriculum.
Self-placement details should have been added to the Unifrog
platform by 27th April 2026. Further advice and guidance can
be given by Group Tutors or Mrs Watts (Careers Lead).
Information about Work Experience can be found on our
website. Please visit: QPHS Work Experience
I really enjoyed the day and the
work experience it provided,
especially learning about event
management and the careers work
happening across the region.
Year 12 Student
As a guest at the conference, I was
extremely proud to see how our
students conducted themselves. They
were a credit to the school,
demonstrating excellent leadership skills,
the ability to work under pressure and to
work confidently alongside adults.
Well done!
