ROWING ROUND UP
Head of Bridgewater
This was the first ever event for many of our J13 rowers and they didn9t
disappoint! Racing along the Bridgewater Canal in Trafford, our crews
put in fantastic performances across singles, doubles and quads.
Highlights included wins from our J14 girls9 quads and double, as well as
victories for both the J13 girls9 and boys9 quads. A brilliant debut from
our youngest rowers, well done to all our crews!
North of England Head
One of our home events, the North of England Head saw our Rowing
Club welcome crews from across the country to race along the River
Dee from Eccleston to Chester.
Thanks to our incredible catering team, who pulled out all the stops to
host a fantastic event and raised over £1,300 for the club!
Congratulations to all who raced the 5km course. Special mention goes
to our J16 boys9 quad: Jacob, Healy, Achilles and Jack who delivered a
dominant performance to take the win in their event.
Superb racing and fantastic hosting - what a team!
