LEARN TO ROW
A week of sun, skills and sculling
What a fantastic start to the school holidays, and
with perfect weather to match for our annual Learn
to Row programme, run by Queen9s Park Chester
Rowing Club.
We are incredibly fortunate to offer our students the
chance to learn this brilliant sport with the support
of such an experienced club.
This year, over 40 students took part. Starting as
complete novices on Monday, they learned
everything from water safety and boat handling to
mastering the rowing stroke. By Friday, they were
confidently rowing in singles, doubles and larger
boats - an incredible transformation in just one
week!
A huge thank you to the dedicated volunteers who
ran the sessions for the week and made it such a
success.
