ahead, I’m excited to see

at QPHS! Rounders will be on
Monday after school at 3:154:15pm! Looking forward to
seeing lots of them there!

Miss Darroch, Teacher of PE
On the football pitch, we9ve
seen some incredible talent.
Mia P from Year 7 has been a
real standout, impressing in
both Year 8 games. Bella B
has been unstoppable,
scoring an amazing 5 goals in
just two matches!
Finally, a special shout-out to
Trudy S, who9s been a
fantastic captain, leading her
team to victory against
Abbeygate with her motivation
and great leadership.
GIRLS TACKLE RUGBY
Sharks coach sparks Rugby passion
With the upcoming Women9s World
Cup generating lots of excitement, we
were thrilled to welcome Matt from
Sale Sharks to Queen9s Park High
School! Sale Sharks is a professional
rugby union club based in Greater
Manchester which play in the top tier
of English rugby - Premiership Rugby.
Matt9s visit focused on encouraging
more girls to get involved in rugby and
supporting their development in the
sport. He spent the day working with
groups from Years 7, 8, and 9,
placing a strong emphasis on building
foundational skills, particularly around
ball handling. As well as getting stuck
into practical drills, the girls also had
the chance to hear Matt9s expert tips
and insights, sparking plenty of
enthusiasm and confidence across
the groups.
It was a fantastic opportunity to build
new skills, boost motivation, and
inspire the next generation while
promoting rugby from the grassroots
up.
A huge thank you to Matt for choosing
to visit us and for being such a
positive role model. We can9t wait to
see how our students take what
they9ve learned and grow their
passion for the game - who knows,
maybe we9ve got future rugby stars in
our midst!
