GIRLS ON FIRE!
Teamwork, Talent & Triumph
What a season it's been for our
girls' sports teams, especially in
netball and football! The netball
season truly reached its peak with
the Chester & District tournaments
and I couldn9t be prouder of how
the girls represented QPHS on the
court.
Every year group brought their Agame, showing off their skills,
passion, and dedication. It was
amazing to have a team from every
year group competing 3 not every
school can say that! Each team
played with determination, always
keeping sportsmanship at the heart
of everything they did.
Year 7 really stood out, playing
with so much energy and
enthusiasm. Victoria A was a total
star as our Goal Keeper, with
Jessie Mc our up-and-coming goal
scorer! I can9t wait to see what this
team will achieve in the future!
Year 8 also impressed, with Emily
and Hattie showing off some
brilliant netball as Centre (C) and
Goal Attack (GA). The whole team
grew stronger with every game!
Year 9 faced some tough
competition, but they never lost
their confidence or team spirit.
They played with grit and really
improved as the tournament went
on.
Year 10 played with just six
players, nearly taking home the
trophy! Phoebe was solid in
defence, Grace O ruled the centre
and Evie B and Liv L were on fire
as goal scorers. It was one of the
most exciting performances of the
season.
