QPHS magazine - Spring Term 2026 - Magazine - Page 2
WELCOME
As we reflect on another
incredible year at
Queen’s Park High
School, I am delighted to
welcome you to this
special edition of our
school magazine.
This publication
celebrates the many
achievements,
experiences and
memorable moments that
have shaped life at QPHS over the past year.
Looking through these pages, I am reminded of
just how much our students accomplish when they
are encouraged to be ambitious, embrace new
opportunities and believe in themselves.
We begin by celebrating our best-ever A Level and
GCSE results. These outstanding outcomes are the
result of exceptional hard work, determination and
resilience from our students, supported by
dedicated staff and families. We could not be
prouder of everything they have achieved and the
exciting futures that now lie ahead.
Throughout this magazine, you will see countless
examples of students stepping beyond their
comfort zones and making the most of every
opportunity available to them. From international
exchange visits and award-winning STEM
competitions to careers programmes, university
preparation workshops and leadership
opportunities, our young people continue to
demonstrate curiosity, ambition and confidence.
Creativity has also flourished. Whether through
inspiring artwork, music performances, drama
productions or literary successes, students have
showcased remarkable talent, imagination and
dedication. It has been wonderful to see so many
young people expressing themselves, developing
their passions and sharing their talents with others.
This year has also highlighted the importance of
community, wellbeing and making a positive
difference. From environmental projects and
charitable initiatives to achieving Thrive School
status, our students continue to show kindness,
responsibility and a genuine commitment to
supporting others while developing the confidence
to become positive role models.
Sport remains a huge source of pride, with
successes across a wide range of disciplines. Time
and again, our students have represented QPHS
with determination, teamwork and sportsmanship,
demonstrating the values that make our school
community so special.
Most importantly, this magazine captures the spirit
of Queen’s Park: a place where students are
inspired to dream big, empowered to succeed and
encouraged to support one another.
Thank you to everyone who contributes to making
QPHS such a special place.
Here’s to another fantastic year ahead!
