QPHS magazine - Autumn Term 2025 - Magazine - Page 43
As with every year, it was an
absolute joy to see students joining
in with the festivities and wearing
their own clothes and Christmas
jumpers. On Thursday 11th
December, alongside the normal
offering of pizza, pasta and wraps,
we offered Christmas dinner to the
whole school. It tied in brilliantly
with our charitable efforts to raise
money for Save The Children and
donations for the West Cheshire
Foodbank. Christmas Jumper Day
brought more than just festive
fashion, it was a chance to
celebrate together as tutors and
tutees gathered in our festively
decorated dining areas to share
lunch and chat about their hopes for
2026.
It certainly helped us all to get into
the festive spirit!
FESTIVE FEAST!
5-Star dining for lucky tutor group
As part of our Attendance
Advent prize, Mr Evans9 tutor
group were treated like royalty
with their very own private dining
experience. Their Christmas
lunch was prepared by our very
own crack team of chefs: a
talented group of Year 10,11 and
12 students studying Hospitality
and Catering, led by Miss
Longson.
The students worked tirelessly
throughout the morning to
prepare, cook and serve full
roast dinners for all 29 members
of the tutor group. Complete with
waiter service, crackers and
even reindeer-themed desserts,
this festive feast was nothing
short of spectacular!
This incredible experience was
one of the prizes awarded
through Attendance Advent and
it9s safe to say the whole tutor
group were thrilled to enjoy such
a reward, completely free of
charge!
At Queen9s Park, we pride
ourselves on being a close-knit
community. Creating moments
like these helps everyone feel
they belong to something truly
special.
Our students worked so hard
to make this a special
experience. From planning the
menu to serving the meals,
their professionalism and
teamwork were outstanding. I
am so proud of them.
