Advent
Every Day Counts!
To spread a little Christmas joy and highlight the
importance of being in school, our Giant
Attendance Advent brought both excitement and
anticipation to the final weeks of term. For each
school day in December, the tutor group with the
highest attendance gathered in the main canteen
with their tutor and chose one of 15 keys to
unlock a door and reveal a prize inside!
There was a huge range of prizes up for grabs
for the whole tutor group, including cinema trips,
Domino9s pizza lunches, mountains of
chocolates, own clothes days, and even Amazon
gift cards for every member of a tutor group!
We know how important it is to be in school as
much as possible and, while we understand that
sometimes students need time to recover when
they9re unwell, we also believe school should be
a place where children want to be. This initiative
helped make that happen and we were thrilled to
reward over 230 children this month!

We all understand how important it

greatly increases the chances of
improving both the quality of
qualifications and the personal
development of our young people!
