GOLD STAR CHAMPIONS
Rewarding brilliance, effort & achievement
PUMPKIN PRIZES
Attendance wins BIG!
Five mysterious pumpkins
appeared overnight in our
trophy cabinet during the final
week of the October half term.
Inside each pumpkin was a
golden envelope enclosing a
secret prize for the tutor group
with the highest attendance.
Every day that week, the
winning tutor group could
choose a pumpkin and reveal
these spooky surprises!
It was great to see the pride
students took in having their
prize read out to them. This
little trick, or rather treat,
brought a perfect mix of
suspense and celebration to the
end of term. Even better, it
sparked conversations among
students and staff about why
showing up matters.
A fun reminder that attendance
really does pay off!
Making students famous for the
right reasons is one of our goals at
Queen9s Park High School! This is
made so much easier when there
are so many students doing
wonderfully in school and, as a
result, we had over 200 students in
each half term so far this year
recognised for the number of
House points they received.
Every gold star winner was
presented with a certificate and
gold star badge, with two students
from each year group lucky
enough to win Amazon vouchers in
our prize draw. On top of that, two
students from all of those shining
gold star recipients have walked
away with incredible prizes: a
brand-new laptop and a £100
Amazon gift card!
It is always a pleasure to reward
students who consistently try hard,
achieve their best and contribute to
the wider life of the school. Their
commitment to personal growth
and positive engagement with our
community is something we value
deeply. More importantly, these
qualities will empower them to
succeed in the years ahead.
Congratulations to all of our gold
star winners so far, and watch this
space, because there are plenty
more stars to be awarded in 2026!
