Tackling Teen Risk Through Theatre
On Thursday 4th December, our Year
9 students took part in a powerful and
thought-provoking performance titled
Risking It All, delivered by the talented
Theatre in Education group, 2Engage.
The production formed part of our
wider PSHE (Personal, Social, Health
and Economic) education programme
and gave students the chance to
explore real-life issues in a safe,
engaging, and meaningful way.
Risking It All tackled a range of
challenging topics, including risky
behaviour, grooming, underage
drinking, unhealthy relationships, and
exploitation. Based on the lived
experiences of teenagers, the
performance brought these themes to
life through honest storytelling, drama,
and audience interaction. Students
were encouraged to reflect on how
peer pressure, manipulation, and
control can influence decisions, and
how certain situations can escalate
quickly with serious consequences.
The session sparked open, thoughtful
conversations among students and
helped build awareness around the
risks and pressures many young
people face today.
We are very fortunate to have
received continued support from the
Westminster Foundation, which
enabled us to subsidise this highquality educational experience.
Thanks to their generosity, our
students were able to benefit from a
powerful, real-world learning
opportunity that might otherwise be
beyond reach.
We9re grateful to both 2Engage and
the Westminster Foundation for
helping bring these essential
messages to life in such a meaningful
and memorable way.
An outstanding and highly
engaging performance covering a
wide range of PSHE themes.

Live Performance
On Thursday 2nd October, we were
privileged to welcome an exclusive
performance from Joel Foster, an
up-and-coming singer and
musician!
Performing for our Year 7 and 8
students, 20 year old Joel
captivated the audience with a mix
of original songs and popular
covers. Alongside his music, Joel
spoke openly about bullying and
mental health, sharing personal
experiences and offering heartfelt
advice to the younger generation.
Joel starred on the very first season
of The Voice Kids and has since
gone on to achieve thousands of
streams for his music. His journey
from a young contestant to a rising
artist was truly inspiring.
It was a fantastic opportunity for our
students to experience a live
performance from a professional
musician and to hear his words of
encouragement. This event will
undoubtedly be a memorable one,
reminding students of the
importance of resilience and
showing them what can be
achieved through determination and
self-belief.
