CHEFS IN THE MAKING!
PARADISE BAY STREET FOOD
Our talented Year 11 students
recently took on the Paradise Bay
Street Food Challenge, and what
a feast they created! As part of
their WJEC Hospitality & Catering
practical exam, they spent three
hours crafting dishes that could
rival any food market. From
loaded fries with spiced aioli to
seafood linguine, fish tacos with
mango salsa, and caramelised
onion focaccia, the variety was
vast.
Sweet treats were on the menu
too, with indulgent options for
those with a sweet tooth,
including Tiramisu, Tarte Tatin,
and rich chocolate chip brownies
to complete the full dining
experience.
This challenge wasn9t just about
cooking; it was about creativity
and precision. Every plate
showcased big flavours and
professional presentation, earning
well-deserved praise from staff
and peers alike. It9s safe to say
our future chefs are on the right
path to success.
A huge congratulations to all
involved, you9ve set the bar high
for street food excellence!
