VISITORS
Trainee teachers discuss myths & explore learning across cultures
This term, we were delighted to welcome more
than 70 trainee teachers through our strong
partnership with the University of Chester, along
with an inspiring group of visitors from Linköping
University in Sweden!
During their three day visit, our Swedish guests
spent time observing Key Stage 3 lessons in
English and Drama, gaining valuable insight into
what teaching and learning looks like in a British
school. They were especially keen to see how
creativity, discussion and collaboration come to
life in our classrooms.
To give something back, the visitors delivered
their own engaging lessons to our Year 7
students, introducing them to the world of
Swedish myths, from mischievous swamp trolls
to powerful Norse gods. Students loved acting
out the stories, asking questions, and learning
about Swedish folklore in a fun and interactive
way.
It was a brilliant few days of shared learning,
storytelling and cultural exchange. We look
forward to them returning to Queen9s Park High
School in the future.
